Human Resources
Sample success story
“After the Strategic Business Partnering workshop, my colleague and I had a meeting with a senior engineering leader to discuss a career fair he wanted us to host to hire engineers. Prior to working with EP and learning Strategic Partnering Skills, we would have spent the entire meeting discussing a detailed action plan for hosting a career fair and committed significant time and resources. Instead, we asked questions focused on the employee performance and business results that the client was seeking. We discussed how they compared to current results and explored why there was a gap between the desired and current performance. At the end of the meeting, the client determined that there was no need to host a career fair. It was premature to hire 20 engineers at this time. It wouldn’t solve the real problem. At the close of the meeting, the client walked away with eight action items and we had one — and the client thanked us for the value we brought to the discussion.”
