We also offer the acclaimed and award winning training and development ABCD System.  This offering consists of the four course Optimizing Human Performance Workshops of Dr. Joe Harless.   The Accomplishment-Based Curriculum Development System program is an integrated, holistic model in support of human performance. The ABCD System provides a cohesive framework for the processes of human performance.

This program consists of:

  • Front-End Analysis (FEA) Workshop – The tools presented in this workshop will enable participants to analyze workplace performance to ensure exemplary results.
  • Training Design Workshop – The focus of this extensive workshop is on designing training that addresses what employees need in order to perform their jobs; not unnecessary information that does not relate to the goal of the organization.
  • Training Development Workshop – The focus of this three-day workshop is on the development of job aids, instructional materials, tests, practice exercises, and instructor’s guides.
  • Job Aids Workshop (JAWS) – The focus of the two-day workshop is on the development of job aids.

UPCOMING PRESENTATIONS

April 21, 2012 – Dr. Elliott, Dr. Folsom and Joe Harless will be presenting, “An Ounce of Analysis–The Legacy of Joe Harless” at the International ISPI conference in Toronto Canada. Joe Harless’s seminal work– An Ounce of Analysis –has shaped the thinking of performance improvement over much of ISPI’s history. This session will review the underlying premises of performance analysis, the value of an accomplishment-based approach, the robust nature of the data that are captured, and the impact when the analysis results serve as the basis for designing high-performance work systems.
