Strategic Implementation Support
People often return from workshops with great enthusiasm and big plans but then reality sets in – and the work environment, pace of operations and supervisors may not support the targeted accomplishments.
EP’s strategic implementation support includes ongoing coaching, work environment and strategic project support to ensure that learning becomes doing and that strategic projects are executed successfully.
Coaching Support
As people work to develop partnerships with clients at a strategic level they have questions such as:
- “How do I gain access to this individual—currently I have none, so how can I influence the business decisions?”
- “How do I transition partnerships to more strategic and business-focused relationships?”
- “I am finding some resistance from the client to the questions I am asking—how can I manage that resistance?”
- “In working with my client we’ve uncovered a significant performance gap and I’m not quite sure how to approach it. What should I do?”
EP professionals provide coaching, over the phone or face-to-face, on a planned or as-needed basis.
Work Environment Support
To assure payback on your investments to become more strategic, you need two things: capability of people (knowledge, skills and attributes) and a work environment that supports the desired performance.
Work Environment Readiness – Based on the factors that must be present in the work environment to ensure success as a strategic function, we can work with you to support success by providing enablers and reducing barriers.
Role Clarity – Lack of clarity regarding who is to do what is a common barrier. We organize accountabilities by role to assure a clear definition for what needs to be accomplished by role and how to deliver those results. This forms the basis for selection and assignment as well as coaching for performance.
Accountability and Measurement Systems – We help you design a system to measure your results as a function to focus on both how people are working and what they are producing.
Strategic Project Support
As people apply strategic partnering skills, they uncover strategic opportunities – real projects that require support. EP can provide your strategic partners with valued support to assure success.
Your strategic projects require assessment and analysis to identify root causes for the situation. You’ll need to create a proposal to address root causes and define and prioritize potential solutions. You need to present the plan positively and credibly to influence the client to take the actions that produce the right results.
Exemplary Performance supports your delivery of successful strategic projects with:
- Shadow consulting, where you manage all the interface with the internal client
- Co-consulting, where we take on some of the work and team with you to ensure success
Our goal is to develop your skills so you no longer require support. You have assurance that EP’s performance consulting experts can serve as adjunct team members when you need additional resources.
Ensure your desired results with EP’s strategic implementation services. Call us at 410-266-8400 or submit a request for information.

High Performance Comes Naturally to Bonus Years’ Exemplar

Still others are “persistent performers,” who start early and don’t stop when they turn 60 or 65. Paul Elliott is a persistent performer who [...]
